Once the wax is gone,
the chalk coat has inside cavities which replicate in
negative the exact shape of the wax models.
At this point, the cylinder goes directly in the second
furnace where the proper casting takes place:
the furnace for exhausted microcasting.
In this stage, the alloy of melted metals, silver and
copper in the right proportions, is poured in the
matrix, filling the hollow spaces inside the chalk
coat.
It is very important that the necessary quantity of
metals is carefully calculated in order to obviate losses
or wastes of raw materials.
